Joshua Bennett hugs his dog, Dakota, on the back deck of his home. His mother, Peggy started a journal when he crashed his car and wound up in the hospital. As he lay in a coma, his friends and family all wrote things they never had the courage to say when he was awake. Joshua, who is now brain damaged, is cared for by his family at home.
