Brittany Williams waits backstage at Nick Jeralds Middle School in her wedding dress and veil. Williams played the part of the bride, a.k.a. Miss Reading, and Benjamin Major played the part of the groom, a.k.a. Mr. Mathematics., in a mock wedding Friday afternoon. The wedding was meant to get students excited about end of grade testing for seventh graders at the school. Although the "bride" and "groom" remain friends, Brittany insisted on a quick divorce after the ceremony. "He had syrup on his suit," Brittany said with a smile, "who wants to marry a guy with syrup on his suit?"
