Sometimes the first day of school can be a little scary, as it was for kindergartner Stephen Weimann at Riverview Elementary in Fort Mill--here he is comforted by his new teacher, Anita Branum, in the hallway. Today was the first day of school in Fort Mill and Rock Hill, and kindergartners were a little scared but also excited. Fort Mill reported enrollment of 359 kindergartners in its schools today.
