2nd Spot News Byron Holland, New Bern Sun-Journal Firefighters from Township 6 in New Bern, NC, work to remove the body of a 44-year-old woman from the wreakage caused when she drove her 1998 Plymouth Voyager into the path of a train carrying fuel to MCAS Cherry Point on Monday, February 18, 2002. The accident occurred around 9 a.m. on a service road that runs parallel to U.S. 70. No one fom the train was injured and no fuel escaped from the tanker cars. |
