6/23/2003 Charlotte firefighters and Dept. of Transportation workers inspect the damge following a wreck on Westinghouse Blvd. Tuesday morning. The bed from a dump truck was knocked off when the empty dumper lifted in transit and struck two bridges carrying traffic on Interstate 485. Westinghouse Blvd. was closed for two hours as workers cleared the wreckage and examined the bridge stucture. No one was injured. Charlotte firefighters contained leaking fluids from the truck before they could reach a nearby stormdrain.
