03/04/02: A fire fighter works to check for hot spot left after a fire gutted this one-story brick house at 10334 Harrisburg Road, Monday afternoon March 4, 2002. One fire fighter was seriously burned after he feel through the floor into the basement that was fully engulfed in flames. A second fire fighter sustained burns as he worked to rescue the other fire fighter from the basement area. Fire fighters from Robinson, Newell, Mint Hill, Harrisburg and Charlotte work to conbtrol the fire that destroyedthe house.
