Rhythmic and athletic gymnasts stretch before their workouts at the Carolina Gymnastics Academy (cq) Wednesday. This weekend the gym's Rhythmic Waves (cq) team will host the North Carolina State Rhythmic Championships (cq). About 45 rhythmic gymnasts from Charlotte as well as from out of state will compete.
