Five-year-old David Mendez stretches in his wheel chair to pick up a soccer ball in the front yard of his home near St. Paul's. Both of David's legs were broken when he was hit by an ATV speeding down the road infront of his home. He was riding his bike at the time. He will be in the casts for about 7 months before doctors will decide if they need to do surgery.
