David Mendez stares out into the street where he was struck by an ATV while he was riding his bike. Both of David's legs were broken when he was hit by an ATV speeding down the road infront of his home. He was riding his bike at the time. He will be in the casts for about 7 months before doctors will decide if they need to do surgery. With his home not wheel chair accesable, he does not get to go outside very often.
