04/19/03: John Potts, (CQ) Providence High School boys & girls track coach, measures a new height during the boy's high jump competition. The 2003 Chic-Fil-A Invitational got off despite early rains, a persistent mist and cool weather as more than 500 high school athletes from across North and South Carolina competed fro bragging rights over two states. Foul weather not withstanding the high schoolers demonstrated strength, speed, grace and determination.
