Elizabeth De La Torre (CQ) , 5, wears her new lace socks, shoes and dress to mark the special day of First Communion for her older siblings, Nora Garcia (CQ) , 9 1/2 and Juan Luiz De La Torre (CQ) , 8. The children shared their ceremony with others at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church in Charlotte, NC. The church serves the Spanish-speaking communities in Charlotte. Manuel De La Torre (CQ) and his wife, Maria Cruz Garcia (CQ) , originally from Mexico, have been in the USA for 21 years, the last 5 in North Carolina.
