11/8/01: Sid Smith (CQ), former president (CQ-former president. he even made a note of it on his business card he gave me) of The Hosiery Association, stepped down after 30 years with the association. The trade group represents sock and pantyhose manufacturers. Smith has seen a lot in three decades with the group, including legwarmers and socks with pockets.
