N.C. State Trooper Joe Memory (CQ) works on one of several reports as officers and emergency officials try to sort out the damage in a murky mix of fog and smoke on NC 133 Thursday morning. A mix of low lying smoke and morning fog rolled over the road just south of Daws Creek Road forcing vehicles to slow, resulting in a multi-car pileup.
