11/10/2001 With the setting sun casting late afternoon shadows, States McCarter (CQ) stands on the front porch of his home on Hwy. 55 outside of Clover, SC Saturday afternoon. Like many people across the country the McCarters were flying the American flag to show their patriotic spirit.
