A crying Gustavo Arellanos,8, is comforted by his brother Cristobal Arellanos, after Gustavo returned home from school to find Charlotte fire fighters battling to control a fire at his home in the 4400 block of Craven Hill Drive, Friday afternoon November 14, 2003. Twenty-eight fire fighters worked for 40-minutes to control the blaze that caused heavy damage to the second floor of the two-story house. Fire fighters rescued two birds and a gold fish from the burning home. Red Cross is assisting the family of two adults and eight children. The fire is under investigation at this time.
