Exhausted from last-minute preparations, Tessa Seitter, 10, naps against Belle a few hours before showing the heifer at the North Carolina State Fair's Youth Livestock Show. The show was the last in a series of 4-H events that led up to the State Fair. Since her family moved to Pender County five years ago 4-H has been a major factor in their adjustment to a self-sufficient rural lifestyle.
