Not just to a few powerful people, but to an entire field of experts, insist that children who struggle in school suffer for some kind of behavioral, emotional or attentional disorder. It is believed by pediatrician Mel Levine, UNC professor, that each child needs to be diagnosed individually, carefully looking at each function of the brain that can affect the way children learn.
